The Math Club has provided quality math supplemental educational services to underserved students in the North Bronx and Westchester for more than a decade. In 2003, The Math Club incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) and implemented an annual math competition for junior high school students.
The Club is preparing for statewide and international growth! The Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Math Competition grows tremendously each year and 2007 will mark the first year the competition is open to students from all boroughs. In the next three years, the Competition will expand to include students from Jamaica. In allowing students from Jamaica and New York to compete, The Math Club will increase student interest and involvement which will continue The Club's impressive success stories.
