Bashment

Apparently, Tehut-Nine and Mykal Fax were paying very close attention to Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's brotherly tag-team approach when making Bashment: The Fork in the Road, a movie about the grim realities of urban black life.

Bashment is filled with challenging edits and cuts, exciting shots and angles and all types of editorial extras that make movies interesting. The stellar quality of the high definition video and the cast of Brooklyn all-stars make Bashment one of the must see movies about urban New York.

Without giving away too much, the script captures the essence of coming up in harsh urban environments where young black men negotiate sex, drugs, the righteous and the glamorous life. The cast takes the audience on a thoughtful and sincere journey through the inner thoughts and emotions of black men.

Bashment: The Fork in the Road adds new dimensions to the Caribbean and African-American experience. The movie has a message for everyone, from the struggling single mom to the teenager caught in the crossroads.

The film is screening in several states and will hit Jamaica in late summer 2007. In addition to being available in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and California, Bashment will go to DVD in late 2007 for national and international audiences.
